~Whitby Wedding Photographer~
During my time as a wedding photographer I’ve spent a lot of time problem solving in every kind of environment and learning how to tackle them, should a tricky situation arise. What I mean by this is “what if the lighting is poor” or “what if an area I wanted to use isn’t available?” These are all situations that I’ve been in and I pride myself on being able to tackle most. One of the big ones is weather and what do we do if the weather isn’t nice? It’s a question I get asked a lot and I’ll always reply that there will be a way to sort it, we’ll always find somewhere we can use. However there are some days when even I pray for nice weather and yesterday was one of them.
Even though Fiona & Jack live in London they decided Whitby was the place they wanted to be married after years of visiting with family. Whitby is one of my favourite places in the country and is a wedding photographers dream. There’s so much to see and capture and part of Fiona & Jacks plan was to walk to the ceremony venue and then walk back to the reception. But this all depended on if the weather was good. I wanted to take advantage of everything Whitby had to offer from gorgeous little hide aways, the pier to the arcades and my god did we get good weather!
Fiona & Jack’s wedding day was a vintage daydream which they poured themselves into to make it perfect for them. The stationary, the invites, the decor, the music, the food, even the wedding dress had been tailored by Fiona and Jack.
