You could feel the sizzling passion and love between Jody and Roxy as they tied the knot at
Aldby Park in Yorkshire in a joyful, vibrant and sunkissed summer marquee wedding.

Both brides arrived at the venue in Camper Vans after their bridal preparation
at Street Farm Cottages in Full Sutton, near York.

Aldby Park is a country estate in the village of Buttercrambe in North Yorkshire with stunning
views and glorious landscaped grounds – a perfect setting for marquees and outdoor weddings.

As Jody and Roxy both grew up in the countryside, and share a love of horse-riding, camping and dining in forests,
it’s understandable why they immediately fell in love with the venue with its
open spaces, beautiful grand landscapes and maze-like bushes.

Their humanist ceremony was stunning with guests travelling from as far afield as Burma, Australia and the USA to see the couple pledge to ‘love, honour, care and laugh with each other always’. The couple exchanged lovely ‘love boxes’ to share and enjoy on their 10th Wedding Anniversary – enclosed with personal notes to each other, their vows and their favourite wine and rum. Keys were given to friends for safekeeping, of course.

Jody and Roxy met in Leeds and bonded over nights of dancing – from learning salsa on their third date,
attending festivals or playing a ‘dance like Michael Jackson’ Wii computer game with friends.

Dancing and having fun was evident at the wedding, with an amazing
evening topped by their choreographed first dance.

Guests were given a glittery magic bean in an organza bag which they had to trade for a
hat /wig/prop, face paint and biodegradable glitter via a ‘magic door’
(a flower arch lit with candles and a door with fairy lights and drapes).
